“Arsenal Tours” is affiliated with the “Arsenal Australia Supporters Club” and is run by one of the club’s members, Warren Rice. Warren is located in Armidale, northern NSW and is the AASC contact person for the Armidale region.
In late 2007 Warren decided that he’d like to organise and run Tours to Arsenal for AASC members, Tours that would give Australian Arsenal supporters a behind the scenes look at their favourite club, without having to organise it for themselves.
After communicating with Arsenal over the first few months of 2008 Warren visited Arsenal in late April and finalised the process of putting the Tour packages together.
Note: Tour participants must be members of the Arsenal Australia Supporters Club and have a current Membership Card to go on the Tour. Membership is included in the Tour price, for current non-members wanting to participate.
If you’re an AASC Member or a die hard Gooner, this is the Supporter Tour not to be missed!! It is the ultimate Tour for any Arsenal Fan:
* There will hopefully be two (2) Tours a season
* The Touring Party will be a minimum of 10 persons and a maximum of 15 persons
* The Tour is a mixture of everything Arsenal, Football and London for 10 to 12 nights
* There is plenty of free time to explore London at your own pace
* Our accommodation is located in the heart of London’s entertainment district

- I've been an avid Gooner since 1971, when I watched my first delayed telecast of an FA Cup Final and saw my namesake playing Right Back in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool. From that moment I was hooked. Since then I've ridden all the highs and lows of supporting a football team from afar. In the early 80’s I was lucky enough to visit Highbury twice, the first in March 1981, watching the Gunners defeat Liverpool 1-0 and the second in May 1984, seeing a young Gary Lineker playing for Leicester City and losing 2-1. Two weeks later I went to Watford and saw us lose 2-1 in the last game of that season. In 1984 he was also lucky enough to see Arsenal play a Testimonial Game at The Valley against Charlton Athletic where George Best played the whole 90 minutes for Charlton as a guest player. 24 years later, In April 2008, I visited Arsenal to organise the Club component of the Tour Package and while there I watched Arsenal defeat Everton 1-0 in the last home game of the 2007-2008 Season. I'm now looking forward to taking groups of Australian Arsenal Supporters to “The Emirates” to cheer on the Gunners for themselves.
